Alina Kaganovich is a founding partner of Antonov Kaganovich LLP. She is a compassionate, detail-oriented and zealous advocate, demanding justice in every personal injury claim she handles. Alina is more than a lawyer to her clients. She uses her background in psychology to be a support system for her clients throughout the lifetime of their legal matters and through their difficult times.
Although Alina is a highly skilled negotiator, and always tries to attain favourable results for her clients without having to proceed to the courtroom, she is always ready to advance her clients’ rights through litigation, if necessary. Alina regularly appears before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, as well as the License Appeal Tribunal, attaining favourable results.
Alina’s personal injury law practice focuses on motor-vehicle accidents, with a special focus on catastrophic impairments and traumatic brain injuries, occupier’s liability, product liability, LTD appeals, medical malpractice, as well as slip/trip and falls.
Prior to deciding to dedicate her career to helping individuals in need through her legal practice, Alina attained diverse work experience both before and throughout law school, reaching top positions at various organizations. Alina’s non-legal roles provided her with insight that is uncommon to many legal professionals, which turned her into a skilled negotiator as well as a tough litigator, and provided her with the skillset to conduct her legal practice in a manner that exceeds her clients’ expectations.
Alina earned her law degree from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, and her Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from York University. She is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Furthermore, Alina is a Certified Yoga Instructor, and teaches yoga as alternative therapy for both physical and psychological ailments.
When she is not working, Alina enjoys travelling, yoga, hiking, car racing, and spending time with her family and friends.
